Robert Merrill Sweeny
"I do what I do because I have to. It is, quite simply, why I am here"
Robert 'Bo' Sweeny is a lifelong artist and recent permanent resident of San Miguel after visiting for the better part of two decades. He holds a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and has studied with many wonderful artists including Adrian Deckbar, Jane Dill, Harry Callahan, Dale Chihuly, Greg Newington, Ron Pokrasso, Rhett Thurman and Minor White. When not in the studio he can often be found walking the streets of San Miguel with his camera and his constant companion, a Yorkie named Widget.
