The Atelier of Cultural Realism offers drawing & painting classes in Life & Portraiture. Learn to draw proportion, beautiful hands and feet, light and shadow, details of the face & learning a variety of ethnicities, embracing uniqueness. We work from models, photos, mirrors, casts and an occasional field trip. Mediums explored are graphite, charcoals, & pastels.  All levels are welcomed.

ABOUT MAESTRA ISIS RODRIGUEZ

Isis Rodriguez, is a world reknown artist & teacher who  recieved her Bachelors of Fine Art in Painting
from the University of Kansas in 1988 and has exhibited her work internationally. Her art works were selected for the prestigious Cervantino Festival 2008 and are on exhibition in San Miguel de Allende at Galeria Nepantla, Pablo Yañez 9, Col. Independencia, San Miguel de Allende.  A dynamic teacher for over 15 years, five at the Instituto Allende, she incorporates both classical methods dating from 500 years ago with modern art school practices. www.isisrodriguez.com
